WEEKLY POOLS
A season pool asks for months of attention. A weekly pool asks for a few days — and that's exactly why groups love them. Here's how to run one on ScoreMyPool with what's built today.
In a season-long pool, missing one busy weekend can put you out of the running for good — so people quietly stop caring. In a short pool there's nothing to fall behind on: every pool is a clean slate, a champion gets crowned within days, and whoever missed this one just catches the next. One commissioner, one link in the group chat, and the trash talk resets every week.
Every pool is built on a competition — the set of games it can include. Your start and end dates then carve out the slice you want. Match the competition to your group's appetite:
Monday Night Only — one game a week, the lightest lift going.
Three Nighter — Thursday, Sunday and Monday night games only.
Weekender — every Sunday game.
Regular Season — the whole slate, every game.
Big 6 Head-to-Head — only matches where two of the Big 6 meet.
Big 6 Matches — every match involving a Big 6 club.
Full Schedule — all 380 matches, every matchweek.
A weekly NFL pool is Wednesday to Monday. A Football matchweek is usually Friday to Monday. Or go longer — a two-week sprint, a one-month race. The dates are yours to set; only games inside them count.
Pick your sport and competition — for an NFL weekly, the Regular Season competition covers every game, or go lighter with Three Nighter or Monday Night Only.
Set the points start and end dates to the window you want — say, Wednesday through Monday for one NFL week. Games outside your window simply don't count.
Set your props, grab the invite link, and drop it in the group chat. Crown a champion when the window closes — then spin up next week's and do it all again.
We're making the week-to-week rhythm even faster — soon you'll be able to clone last week's pool, settings and props included, in one click.
